NEW AND RETURNING PLAYERS

When: January 11th, 2010 5:30 PM to 9:00 PM

The following documentation/payment must be provided to have registration accepted:

1) Fill out the BCLA's player registration form click here and print off 3 copies. Bring the 3 copies to registration.

2) Proof of residency must be provided, please bring a recent hydro, gas or property tax bill.

3) Bring player's Care Card to record card number on registration form.

4)IF WE DO NOT ALREADY HAVE A PHOTOCOPY OF YOUR PLAYER'S BIRTHCERTIFICATE IT MUST BE PROVIDED AT REGISTRATION.  BCLArequires that each association keep a file on every player with a copyof their birth certificate (copy of certificate of baptism, validpassport or certificate of Indian Status also accepted).  ALL NEW PLAYERS MUST PROVIDE A PHOTOCOPY OF THEIR BIRTH CERTIFICATE. 

5) Separate cheques made out to CMLAmust be written for each player registering as well as a separatecheque for each 'A' Team Tryout Fee. Cash or post-dated cheques will NOT be accepted.

November 23th 2009 Registration Returning Players Only offers a $20 discount off the Regular Registration Fee.

Returning players missing the Nov. 23th 2009 Registration will be assessed a $20 late fee and players may be placed on a 'wait-list'.

Preliminary'A' team tryouts for PeeWee, Bantam and Midget will be held in early March 1-7 2010.
An 'A Team Tryout Declaration' form must becompleted at registration accompanied by a non-refundable $20 cheque(separate cheque please).

Pricing includes pair of shorts.

2010 ‘A’ Team Tryout Declaration Fee Notice

In order to give all players interested in playing on an ‘A’ level lacrosse team a good look, and in an effort to streamline the tryout process, Coquitlam Minor Lacrosse will hold initial try-outs indoors.To cover dry floor rental and referee costs, a nominal fee to try-out for‘A’ teams for Pee Wee, Bantam and Midget has been assessed.


Initial try-outs will take place March 1-7, 2010. Players will be notified oftheir floor times by the division coordinators at the end of February 2010.

  • Any player wishing to try-out for an ‘A’ team must complete a declaration form (click here) and pay the non-refundable $20 fee with a separate cheque made out to CMLA at the time of registration. A player will not be allowed to play on an 'A' team unless the tryout fee has been paid.
  • Any players not available for the try-out dates may be excused with avalid reason. Any player missing any of the tryout dates must notifythe division coordinator and provide a valid reason.
  • Players will go directly into scrimmages and are expected to show upfully equipped and ready to play a scrimmage lacrosse game.


Please note that these try-outs are preliminary; cuts will be made after the initial indoor sessions and further evaluations of the smaller groups in each division will continue after Spring Break with team selections finalized in April.


Cheques or money orders are to be made out to Coquitlam Minor Lacrosse Association or CMLA. A separate cheque is required for each player registering. No cash please or post-dated cheques will be accepted.
