Les Wingrove Memorial Service
LESLIE WILLIAM WINGROVE
JANUARY 29, 1944 - APRIL 28, 2018
Les Wingrove passed away with his loving wife JoAnne by his side. He is reunited with his son Trevor Wingrove, sister Sally Critchley, parents Mary (Mae) and Leslie (Art) Wingrove, and in-laws Harue (Winnie) and Sataro (Tom) Taguchi in heaven. He was 74 years old.
Les will be dearly missed by his wife of 50 years JoAnne, son Craig, and daughter in laws Alexandra & Libby. His pride and joy are his three grandchildren Meghan, Emma, & Will.
He also leaves behind his brother Bob (Marylyn), brother in law Derek Critchley (Irma), brother in law Ivan (Cobie), sister in law Eileen Kitamura (Paul), and brother in law Sonny Taguchi (Chieko). Les has 14 nieces and nephews and 17 great nieces and nephews whom he adored.
He leaves behind an amazing legacy of family and commitment to community. Les is a member of the Canadian Lacrosse Hall of Fame and the Coquitlam Sports Hall of Fame. He was a parishioner of St. Laurence Anglican Church in Coquitlam. He was a tireless volunteer who gave his time to dozens of organizations.
